I was flipping through the channels today (wanted to hear something else!)and heard The Newsboys – The Breakfast Song playing, so I stopped the scan. Then I continued to hear more songs that I like. When I heard “The Kross” I though KXOJ had changed their name until I looked at the station #’s and saw 100.3!! I was very excited!!! I missed The Kross! Now I see you’ve been on for a year…where have I been? lol Whoohooo!!!!

I recently moved to the Tulsa area. I’m from the Oklahoma city area and my friends in OKC were wondering if you had a station in their area or will you be branching out anytime in that area? I love the variety of music that you play. Thanks

I’m so glad you are back! I just realized it yesterday! (a little slow, yes, but it was by accident.) I’ve listened since 02, and this station was a key player in my Christian walk. I used to think Christian rock, was, well… not good… Until I found your station on the web and realized how talented the artists are. I ended up listening to your station and all the other stations (104.5, 106.9, etc) I used to listen to just didn’t appeal to me anymore. God works in awesome ways… I remember thinking I’d never give up the music I liked (Metallica, Linkin Park, Zeppelin, AC/DC, etc etc) and now, it just doesn’t appeal to me at all. Occasionally, I’ll listen to the old stuff, but > 98% of the time, I listen to Christian music now.

This station was the tool that opened the door for me and for many others. It fills a much needed gap and reaches a group that KXOJ and AirOne don’t. I’m extremely thankful that you are back to providing us with some great music filled with the right message.

Wow, I just discovered almost by accident you guys are back this morning! I was so excited. We were really bummed when The Kross quit broadcasting and while we love KXOJ, it’s nice to have the option of something louder and edgier. Its definitely a good alternative to some of the other alternative music on the radio locally. My kids will be SO stoked! I think a local show would be great, and would love if there was actually a local place you could go to and listen to live Christian bands.

I just discovered the Kross and think it is a wonderful Station. I don’t have to spend long times surfing a radio of nothing on. There is always something wonderful playing on the Kross. Thank you for playing wonderful and moving Christian Music. I was begining to worry that Christian music was going to become no longer a part of radio.

Looking forward to listening to Kross again. Like lots of others, hope there will be room for alot of Christian Rock. The original Kross played a big role in changing my life.

I’ve been listening to the new Kross and it simply has the best mix of Christian music that I have heard in 30 years. While I listen to a wide variety of music that uplifts Jesus, my favorite has always been fringe music (rap, heavy metal, alternative, electronica, etc – basically anything that is outside of the boring, but safe, core that most radio stations play). Of course, music that is on the fringe is not good by virtue of being on the fringe any more than music that is in the core is bad by virtue of being in the core. I appreciate the talent for selecting fringe songs that are both musically well performed and lyrically Bibilical that I have heard on the new Kross. I loved the old Kross, but the new Kross is way better.

So glad to hear you on the air again! Enjoying the new format. Some of the songs I never would have heard if it weren’t for you playing them. I support the idea of having a night time show that played local bands, as well as playing some harder music on specific programming times. To “re-invent” the station will be easier if you are interacting in the communities. Thanks again!!

We may eventually have a local show. In the meantime, check out http://music.kxoj.com for a free community for local, original artists. We have over 100 artists there and it’s really grown lately…
